Cómo funcionan realmente las coincidencias

Publicado el · Actualizado el · Alrededor de 1 minuto de lectura

Filters first

When you press start, the matcher looks for someone who fits what you asked for: countries, languages and interests. If you picked France and Spanish, your first seconds are spent looking for exactly that — not for whoever happens to be free.

Widening when the queue is thin

Small queues cannot answer every filter combination, so the search widens rather than leaving you waiting. It holds your exact countries for a few seconds, then widens to your region, then to everyone online. You always see which stage the search is in, so a longer wait never feels like a frozen screen.

What makes matching faster

Three things, all in your control: fewer filters, busier hours, and a stable connection. Evenings in your own time zone are peak time almost everywhere. If you filter for five countries at 4 a.m., expect the search to widen — that is the system working, not failing.

What never affects a match

Your plan. Free, Plus and Pro readers all draw from the same pool, and paid plans never jump the queue or change who you meet. Paying buys filters and video quality; it does not buy better strangers.
